The students at PCC are very involved in our music ministry. We have the annual Christmas choir and Easter ensemble; individual students offering special instrumental music during Sunday worship; and we sing from two different hymnals that have been donated to us by local congregations.
“I enjoyed any time we assembled a group to sing. The Christmas choir both years was a great deal of fun, but my favorite event was singing the doxology at the Celebration of Religious Diversity when Gordon dressed up as John Wesley and read – in a very serious tone – the Methodist rules for singing.” ["Directions for Singing", by John Wesley, 1761]

“I really like the opportunity PCC presents to learn new hymns from other denominations and sources besides my home church’s hymnal. This does not always go as planned, though! Some of my favorite PCC funny moments are the times when so few people in the congregation were familiar with a song that singing it became a complete train wreck and we all ended up laughing.”
