<p>When Richard<strong><a href="http://www.protestantchapelcommunity.org/wp-content/uploads//Eric-Reitan-Head-Shot.jpg"><img class="alignleft size-medium wp-image-363" title="Eric Reitan Head Shot" src="http://www.protestantchapelcommunity.org/wp-content/uploads//Eric-Reitan-Head-Shot-250x300.jpg" alt="" width="143" height="172" /></a></strong> Dawkins has been accused of ignoring the entire discipline of theology in his attacks on theism, he has shrugged away the criticism by saying such things as &#8220;To refute the existence of fairies, you don&#8217;t need to study fairyology.&#8221; Reitan will explain why, in wrestling with the question of God&#8217;s existence, theology cannot be so cavalierly dismissed.</p>
<p>Eric Reitan, UR alum and award winning writer and scholar, is a Professor of Philosophy at Oklahoma State  University specializing in ethics, nonviolence theory, and the philosophy of religion. His recent book, <em>Is God a Delusion?</em>, was named a Choice Outstanding Academic Title of 2009.</p>
